The story continues… BIG day yesterday. Channel 7 Prime News were here at Mahalia. Not the normal happenings… AT ALL!!
I’m a private person, I like to keep a low profile… not sure how that will proceed with the part of me that wants recognition for what I do, my work. Somewhere, somewhere… a solution will appear. I couldn’t say ‘no’, the human in me wouldn’t allow it. Jeremy Buckingham, Member of the Legislative NSW Parliament MLC, asked if I would be willing to speak to the press. He was quick to call back, after his office received my email. It was a copy of the letter I’d received from NAB, informing me of the ‘Additonal Conditions And Endorsements Applying To The Policy’ …..
“As Per Allianz Underwriting Guidlines Cover To Be Cancelled Once A Coal Seam Gas Installation Is Started At The Risk Address’ (yes that ‘Risk’ address is mine!!!)
If CSG arrives my insurance is void. My property will be considered a high risk.
I felt I had a moral responsibility… and that people needed to be aware of this. I wouldn’t have called the press myself… but then, it did cross my mind when I first found out, nearly a year ago now.
Living during this time, in a world in chaos, fear and revolution… even our beloved Australia has caught the dreaded disease. But I’m a human being, I need to live aligned with my values and principles… otherwise, I too sell my soul to the devil, accept a Faustian Bargain.
I live near a small village, which has a long history of voting conservatively. I’m sure it was different years back, the Country Party represented the people from the bush. Country people have different lifestyles to their city friends. It was necessary for them to have a voice. It’s understandable that politicians living a city lifestyle would be unfamiliar with the needs of their rural constituents.
But it’s not like that now. The Country Party is no more, it’s now the Nationals and a part of the Liberals. A completely different story emerges.
It appears almost like we’re living through the ‘last days’, where corruption, greed, lies and downright illegal activities fill our parliamentary chambers. Of course, not all (well hopefully not)… but the nature of a disease is that it’s often contagious, affecting those who were previously untainted.
I know… I was part of a great epidemic, the Polio epidemic in the 1950’s. It was extremely contagious, those unfortunate to ‘catch’ the dreaded disease were locked away in contagious wards… medical staff masked and protected, keeping their distance. No visitors allowed.
So yes, I have some experience with a disease that spreads.
How did this disease start, and where has it spread? How do human beings, born from divinity itself, a heart that knows right from wrong… how do they succumb, how do they allow others to drag them down to the lowliest of places, how?
Well we could discuss that for far too long. It happens… ignorance? Confusion, distraction, medication (fluoride, press, advertising and TV, chemicals in food, water and air…. the list goes on). Yes, we’ve become a medicated lot.
Now, the battle, the fight to remain who we are… human beings, created from divine stuff. A human life, so precious… only one we get to experience. We can’t take anything with us… we can’t go back in time, or to the future… not in our body.
What does it take, to be true to oneself? What will we allow, in the name of ‘progress’. We’ve forgotten our own strength, we’ve forgotten who we are. We’re not cattle, we’re not sheep… we’re a human being. ‘Made in the image of God’. What happened? Where did we go wrong? How can we stop the flood of destruction, the evil intent contaminating, the ignorance, the confusion.
Yes these are big times. I’ve said it many times before. I knew it was coming, I had the vision back in 2007. I ‘heard’ it, I could feel it approaching. I knew a mighty change was upon us. And I knew it was important to do what I’d been putting off. It was clear, even then… that the time is ‘now’.
Technology has helped us greatly… but unfortunately has also overwhelmed us. We’ve become used to the destruction, the inhumanity, the violence, the control, the corruption. Maybe we’ve watched too many movies, too much TV. We’ve lost our sensitivity to what is not acceptable. We’ve become hardened to others pain. There’s just so much of it, constantly in front of us… no wonder people escape with alcohol and drugs. Our systems have become inhuman… we’ve lost the plot completely.
Oh yes, there are human amongst us, speaking the truth and trying, trying to hold up the battle weary crew on the front line. But unfortunately there’s not enough… we all need to hop on board.
We’re only being asked to do what we can do… yes, maybe stretch a bit, beyond the usual comfort zone. Not too far as to endanger ourself. But a little bit done by all of us, actions and words that support the magnificence of the human creation, this sensational Planet Earth…the beauty, the kindness, the sharing… the consciousness.
It’s time… to stand up and be who you are.
